YMC x Cubitts Kitano - Black
Developed in collaboration between YMC creative director Sage Toda-Nation and Cubitts, the Kitano draws from the personal style of Japanese filmmakers Akira Kurosawa and Takeshi Kitano, both known for wearing sunglasses behind the camera.
A refined take on a 1990s silhouette, its slim rectangular profile is paired with subtly flared temples, while sculpted bent-lug detailing adds a quiet sense of sophistication. Understated but deliberate, it’s a frame defined by minimalism and intent.
